A Thank You Message From The Owners Of HCI

If we have learned anything during the past month since the coronavirus pandemic essentially shut most of the country down, it is the capacity for people to adapt and the selflessness that so many people possess. We are stunned by the composure and loyalty of those working for us at HCI and we are so grateful for the amazing job that has been done to help keep this company moving forward.

Under ordinary circumstances, pivoting our operation to allow many of our employees to work from home would be a Herculean task. But as parents became teachers and full-time caretakers along with still being able to meet their work responsibilities, the successful transition to remote working has been even more impressive.

Since not all staff can work remotely, we still have employees coming in every day to fulfill their essential duties. We can’t begin to thank the staff here for their efforts and for maintaining their safety, compassion and productivity during such a difficult and anxious time.

People may look at a collection agency and ask why we stay open. We stay open so people can continue to work and be able to support themselves and their families. We stay open so our clients can maintain an important stream of revenue, allowing them to stay open and pay their employees. We stay open to help people who want to understand their financial obligations and to help those who can make payments on outstanding debts. We have not had to lay off any of our employees so far and we do not plan on laying anyone off or furloughing anyone during the pandemic. Our employees have made a tremendous commitment to us and we are making that commitment to them.

We are also thankful for the commitment that our clients have made with us and we want them to know that their loyalty and trust has not gone unnoticed. We understand that the world has changed and that collections is far different today than it was a month ago. That our clients trust us to engage with their customers and have these difficult conversations is a testament to the strength of the relationship we share, and we will be forever grateful for that.

We are overwhelmed by the way our company has responded to this global situation and we will be forever grateful for their professionalism, because without that, our doors would not be open today. There are so many people around the world who deserve our appreciation for how they have responded to the coronavirus pandemic. But we want to make sure to thank everyone who has contributed to helping keep this economy and this country and this company afloat during this unprecedented event.

PPMS Certified

PPMS is a management system for recovery agencies based upon developing, implementing and adhering to a set of strict industry-specific professional practices and policies.

PPMS certification, much like a SAS-70 audit, requires independent CPA attestation that an agency has in place written policies, procedures, and work processes that ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry best practices. The agency must also demonstrate that it has procedures in place to identify and remediate any variance from these. PPMS certified agencies are subject to annual surveillance and must re-certify every five years.

An agency that has voluntarily undergone the PPMS application and certification process is, quite simply, a better business partner than one which has not. This rigorous process results in:
